Jets | Heimerdinger, team part ways

The New York Jets have announced the team and offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger have mutually agreed to part ways. "I have great respect for Mike Heimerdinger as a football coach," said Jets head coach Eric Mangini. "Ultimately, we agreed that the best course of action would be for the Jets to go in a different direction.
