MLB | Lee Released from Japanese Club; Considering Major Leagues

Japanball.com reports the Chiba Lotte Marines have released South Korean 1B Seung-Yeop Lee after failing to reach an agreement on a new salary. The 29-year-old Lee, who hit .260 with 30 home runs and 82 RBI with Chiba Lotte last season, is considering a move to the major leagues and has been in contact with his U.S. agent.
