NFL | Man arrested for robbing Payton's mother
WREG.com reports a man, 61-year old Andrew Thrash, was arrested Wednesday, Jan. 11, for allegedly stealing the princess jewels collection of former NFL RB Walter Payton's mother Alyne. Police say they recovered about $150,000 worth of Payton's memorabilia. Payton's mother's collection includes a personalized medallion engraved with her son's picture. She also has some of his personalized watches, and a bracelet worth tens of thousands of dollars.
