Bills | Announcement on changes coming today
Leo Roth, of the Democrat and Chronicle, reports the Buffalo Bills will hold a news conference at 1 PM ET Wednesday, Jan. 4, to address a reshuffling of their front office, owner Ralph Wilson said late Tuesday, Jan. 3. It's expected that the club will announce the firing of president and general manager Tom Donahoe. Speculation has centered on assistant general manager Tom Modrak being promoted to take over Donahoe's football duties and Russ Brandon, the club's vice president of business development and marketing, assuming more business control. Former Bills' head coach Marv Levy also be brought back in some role. It's believed offensive coordinator Tom Clements will be fired and possibly defensive coordinator Jerry Gray. Modrak confirmed that he would be involved in the front office shakeup but he would not comment on any pending promotion.
