Rams | Vitt not a candidate for head coach
Steve Korte, of the News-Democrat, reports St. Louis Rams assistant coach Joe Vitt is not considered a candidate to fill the team's vacancy at head coach. Team president John Shaw said, "I think Joe, under the circumstances, did a great job for us. It's just that we really don't consider him a candidate right now." Shaw said his list of candidates does not include any college coaches, but that could change after the college bowl season ends.
