Bears | Metcalf injures knee; optimistic for playoffs
Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports Chicago Bears OG Terrence Metcalf (knee) injured his knee during the second half of the team's Week 17 game. Metcalf will have an MRI exam on his right knee Monday, Jan. 2, to determine the seriousness of what was described as a sprained medial collateral ligament. "I was able to walk off, so I don't think it is that bad,'' Metcalf said. "But I knew something was wrong, and I didn't want it to get worse. We'll see how bad things are.''
