Broncos | Van Pelt could see more action

John Roberts, of Coloradoan, reports Denver Broncos backup QB Bradlee Van Pelt could see an expanded role during Week 17. Because the Broncos no longer have anything to play for against the San Diego Chargers, head coach Mike Shanahan may opt to begin resting his players. Van Pelt said he expects QB Jake Plummer to start until he's told otherwise.
