Orioles | Yet More on Mazzone
Updating recent items, Gary Washburn, of Orioles.MLB.com, reports the Baltimore Orioles are close to signing Atlanta Braves pitching coach Leo Mazzone to a three-year deal that would include a compensation package for the Braves. The Braves are asking for one of the Orioles' minor-league prospects but the two sides haven't yet agreed who that should be. Mazzone's current deal with Atlanta expires on Nov. 15.
