Cowboys | Q. Carter Hearing Held
Mickey Spagnola, of DallasCowboys.com, reports the arbitration hearing between the Dallas Cowboys and the NFL Players Association over the controversial release of QB Quincy Carter last summer took place Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Valley Ranch. According to both sides, the arbitrator has heard all the evidence in the case and now must make a final decision. That could occur as soon as Wednesday, Oct. 5, or possibly weeks from now after the arbitrator reviews all the briefs. NFLPA general counsel Richard Berthelsen said upon leaving Valley Ranch, "It could be weeks or months" before the decision is made.
