Cowboys | D-Linemen Accept Rotation

Clarence E. Hill Jr., of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, reports some of the defensive linemen on the Dallas Cowboys, namely DE Greg Ellis and DT La'Roi Glover were skeptical about their roles in the new 3-4 defensive alignments heading into the season, but they've come to accept their reduced playing time for the sake of the team. "I like what he is doing," Ellis said of head coach Bill Parcells rotating his defensive linemen. "You don't just rely on one person to make all the plays. Players get tunnel vision and don't see the big picture. He is putting us in positions to do the best we can to help the football team." Glover agreed: "I wasn't winded at all in the fourth quarter. Usually I am gassed at that part of the game. But I wasn't winded or tired." Glover was able to register a fourth quarter sack in Week 1.
