Broncos | Shanahan Explains Reason for Clarett Release

Andrew Mason, of DenverBroncos.com, reports head coach Mike Shanahan confirmed and explained why RB Maurice Clarett will be released in the Aug. 30 roster cutdown. "He wasn't going to be one of our top four running backs," Shanahan said following afternoon practice Monday, Aug. 29. "I've been really pleased with our running backs."
