Chiefs | Boerigter Healthy Again

The Associated Press reports Kansas City Chiefs WR Marc Boerigter (knee) is once again healthy and ready for the 2005 season. Head coach Dick Vermeil said Boerigter might have even improved since tearing the ACL in his right knee in a preseason game against Cleveland. "Personally, I think, right now he looks better now than prior to the injury. He just looks better to me. He's a good football player, and he knows he's in competition with other good football players," said Vermeil. Boerigter is in a close competition with at least five other wide receivers for three roster spots.
