Giants | No. 2 Quarterback Spot Still Open

Michael Eisen, of Giants.com, reports the New York Giants No. 2 quarterback job remains up for grabs between QBs Jesse Palmer and Tim Hasselbeck. Palmer completed two of three passes in a limited stint during the team's preseason game Saturday, Aug. 13, but the one he didn't hit was a bad interception that angered head coach Tom Coughlin. Hasselbeck took over late in the third quarter and completed eight of 15 passes for 87 yards, including a nine-yard touchdown to WR Ataveus Cash. He also threw an interception.
