Colts | Pope Just Wants to Improve
John Oehser, of Colts.com, reports Indianapolis Colts LB Kendyll Pope's goal in training camp is to improve a little bit each day. "My goal is to get two percent better every practice," Pope said. "Whatever it is, I want to improve. If I make a mistake in the first practice, I don't want to go out and make it again in the second practice. It's one of those things – it's about getting better and better every day." This offseason, the Colts moved Pope to strongside linebacker from weakside, an adjustment Pope said isn't easy but one head coach Tony Dungy said he is handling well. "We're playing him in a couple of different spots, but we're basically playing him on the strong side behind David Thornton," Dungy said. "He's made plays when he's been in the ballgames. We liked him a lot and he played in a system very similar to our's at Florida State."
