Mets | Pellot Signed

The New York Mets have signed IF Hector Pellot, a fourth-round pick in the 2005 MLB draft, according to Bryan Hoch, for Mets.MLB.com. He will report to Single-A Port St. Lucie Saturday, Aug. 6, to work out with the team, but not to play with them, because he signed a 2006 contract. Pellot will participate in the Instructional League this fall.
