Texans | Ragone Feeling the Love
Kris Krikes, of HoustonTexans.com, reports Houston Texans QB Dave Ragone has been getting a lot of respect around the team's training camp thus far. "We call him the MVP (laughs)," WR Andre Johnson said. "Dave had a great year over in NFL Europe. Now he's out there playing well and as he goes along, he'll continue to get better." Ragone spent the offseason lighting things up for the Berlin Thunder. The southpaw completed 158 of 251 passes (62.9 percent), racking up 1,746 yards for 13 touchdowns and only two interceptions, to help lead his team to World Bowl XIII. With a league-leading 97.5 passer rating, Ragone was named the league's offensive MVP. He also set a NFL Europe record with his streak of 174 consecutive passes without an interception. For now, however, Ragone remains the Texans' third-string quarterback.
