Rockies | Young Still in Team's Plans
The Denver Post's Irv Moss reports the Colorado Rockies plan on promoting minor-league SP Jason Young to the big leagues at some point this season, according to Colorado assistant general manager and vice president of baseball operations Bill Geivett. However, Young has spent the 2005 season adjusting to a different arm slot to correct a delivery that resulted in rib injuries the past two seasons. Thus far, Young is 9-5 with Triple-A Colorado Springs.
