Texans | Capers Ready to Lead His Most Talented Squad

Kris Krikes, of HoustonTexans.com, reports Houston Texans head coach Dom Capers believes his current group of players is the most talented bunch he's had in Houston. "We have had a plan from the beginning," Capers said at his season-opening press conference Wednesday, July 27. "We have attempted to stay consistent following the plan. We've improved each and every season in wins, and I think this will be the most competitive team from the standpoint heading into training camp." Capers anticipates intense competition at several positions, and said his coaching staff faces some of the toughest personnel decisions in team history.
