Broncos | D-Line Rich in Experience
Andrew Mason, of DenverBroncos.com, reports overall, the Denver Broncos have nine defensive linemen who have started at least eight games in the past two years - DLs Courtney Brown, Ebenezer Ekuban, Michael Myers, Gerard Warren, Trevor Pryce, John Engelberger and returning veterans Marco Coleman, Monsanto Pope and Mario Fatafehi. Add in 35-year-old DL Raylee Johnson and 32-year-old DL Luther Elliss - both of whom were longtime starters and perennial standouts in San Diego and Detroit, respectively - and the defensive line possesses an embarrassment of riches when it comes to experience. Now comes the task of sewing these parts into a unit, and defining roles for those who eventually make the team. "It just comes down to us developing that situation into a rotation, which we think is the key to defensive-line play, being able to rotate guys and keep us healthy," defensive coordinator Larry Coyer said. "It's going to be really competitive."
