NFL | Police and Courts: C. Sullivan
The Associated Press reports former New England Patriots DE Chris Sullivan was sentenced to two years' probation after pleading guilty to heroin possession and reckless driving. Sullivan, a reserve defensive end on the Patriots' 2001 Super Bowl championship team, had 12 grams of heroin when police stopped his car in January. He faces up to six months in prison if he violates the terms of his probation. Sullivan was released from a rehabilitation clinic in New Hampshire earlier this month after three months of substance abuse treatment.
