Lions | Kircus Accepts Responsibility For Arrest

Gretchen Flemming, of the Grand Rapids Press, reports Detroit Lions WR David Kircus said he accepts responsibility for his recent drunk driving arrest on June 25. "Obviously I made a mistake and I accept full responsibility," Kircus said Thursday, July 21. "I feel bad for what I did to my teammates, coaches, and family." Kircus was ordered to pay $850 in fines, and he will also undergo a counseling session through the NFL's substance abuse program beginning next week. "It's something I will learn from," Kircus said. "It's a negative thing, but I have to make something positive out of it."
