Broncos | To Announce Middlebrooks Trade Today

Bill Williamson, of the Denver Post, reports the Denver Broncos will announce Friday, July 15, they have traded CB Willie Middlebrooks to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for DE John Engelberger. The deal went through after the 49ers were satisfied with their background check of Middlebrooks, who is dealing with a domestic violence court case.
