NFL | Former TE Sharpe on World Poker Tour

Andrew Mason, of DenverBroncos.com, reports former NFL TE Shannon Sharpe will participate in the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas beginning Saturday, July 9. Former Denver Broncos teammates WR Rod Smith and LB Keith Burns will be traveling to Las Vegas to cheer Sharpe on. "He didn't beat me like he said in Sports Illustrated," Smith said. "I'm not going to give (the World Series) 10 grand. I don't know where (Sharpe) got the money from—well, he's making a lot of money talking now."
