Yankees | Henry Signs

The Associated Press reports the New York Yankees signed first-round pick SS C.J. Henry (Putnam City High School) to a deal with a $1.575 million signing bonus. He'll will receive nearly $1 million up front, agent Jeff Berry said. Henry will be assigned to the Yankees' Gulf Coast League affiliate in Tampa, Fla. The rookie-level team begins its season Friday.
