Chiefs | Mitchell, Grigsby to Battle for MLB Post

Bob Gretz, of KCChiefs.com, reports Kansas City Chiefs LBs Kawika Mitchell and Boomer Grigsby are expected to engage in a training camp battle for the team's starting job at middle linebacker. "Kawika Mitchell has a real feel for the game, but what I didn't see last year was a real take charge attitude," said defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham. "I didn't see the attitude like, 'I'm the guy, I'm the leader' and that's what we've tried to develop in him all through the offseason, and we've made progress. Boomer Grigsby has as much presence at the position as anybody I've been around at the start of his career."
