Rangers | Surgery a Success for Colbrunn

Updating previous reports, the Associated Press reports Texas Rangers 1B Greg Colbrunn (back/hip) underwent successful surgery to repair both a herniated disk in his back and remove a bone chip from his hip. Colbrunn will be unable to resume baseball activity for eight weeks and will not be able to return to the lineup until August, according to manager Buck Showalter.
