Broncos | Slowik Applying New Drills in Camp

Lee Rasizer, of the Rocky Mountain News, reports Denver Broncos defensive backs coach Bob Slowik is applying new philosophies during the team's passing camp. Slowik has been running the team's safeties in one-on-one cover drills with the wide receivers – not just tight ends and running backs. Slowik has also put into operation a video system that allows him to drag around individual defensive backs on the screen to draw attention to coverage responsibilities. He has also worked on modifying on-field technical features, such as body positioning in coverage.
