Browns | Burt Expects to Make Roster

Cleveland Browns rookie DL Larry Burt believes the team's switch to a 3-4 base defense this season gives him a great chance to make the opening-day roster despite being an undrafted free agent, reports Jeff Walcoff of ClevelandBrowns.com. "There's definitely opportunity there," Burt said. "But at the same time, I'm more concerned with helping the team. As a fan and wanting to play professional ball, I'm here to help the team whether it is on the scout team, practice squad or actually playing. With this new 3-4, I'll be playing both end and nose so you pretty much have to know the positions across the board. The only thing you can do is be ready."
