Bills | Anderson Making Progress, Compete for Starting Role

Allen Wilson, of the Buffalo News, reports Buffalo Bills second-year DT Tim Anderson spent 12 of 16 weeks on the inactive list last season, but he is making significant progress and is expected to compete for a starting role with DT Ron Edwards this year. "Coach Krumrie has definitely helped me a lot," Anderson said. "Technique-wise, I thought I was good when I got here. But I've learned a lot more and I feel like I'm definitely a lot better now than I was last year. I think my techniques have gotten a lot better and my knowledge of the game is greater. I think the hard work and commitment is paying off." Edwards and Anderson will need to fill the void made by the departure of DT Pat Williams (Vikings) to free agency.
