Bears | Police & Courts: Darnell Sanders Named in Wrongful-Death Suit

Updating an ongoing story and citing the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Terry Bannon, of the Chicago Tribune, reports Chicago Bears TE Darnell Sanders has been cited in a wrongful-death lawsuit by the family of a man who died after being attacked by Sanders' dogs in Parma, Ohio. The victim's family is seeking more than $1 million in the lawsuit. At this time, Sanders has not been charged, but authorities are investigating whether his two dogs involved in the incident were licensed and whether he had the $100,000 liability insurance Ohio requires.
