Bears | Marinelli a Candidate for DL Coach?

Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports with the departure of defensive line coach Karl Dunbar to LSU, the Chicago Bears are seeking a replacement but they will not be able to turn to Tampa Bay Buccaneers assistant head coach and defensive line coach Rod Marinelli to fill their vacancy. Marinelli, who is close friends with Bears head coach Lovie Smith, was denied permission by the Buccaneers last year to interview for Chicago's defensive coordinator position. This time around, he has received a new contract from Tampa Bay and is not a candidate for Chicago's position.
