Packers | Big Problems on Defense
Tom Silverstein, of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, reports the Green Bay Packers defense, under the direction of coordinator Bob Slowik this year, has regressed considerably since the days of former coordinator Ed Donatell (2000-03). They have given up more passing touchdowns (33) this season than any team in franchise history, they rank lower in total defense (25th) than any Packers team since 1983 and they have the worst-ranked passing defense (25th) of any Packers team since the league went to 26 teams in 1970.
