Jets | Carter Returns to Practice, Role Uncertain for Week 17
J.P. Pelzman, of the Bergen Record, reports New York Jets QB Quincy Carter (flu) returned to practice Friday, Dec. 31, after missing time earlier this week due to flu symptoms. Head coach Herman Edwards has yet to decide whether Carter will serve as the backup or third-string quarterback for Week 17. "He's still a little under the weather, so we'll see how it goes," Edwards said of Carter. "We probably won't make [a decision] until Sunday."
