Patriots | Weis to Become Notre Dame Head Coach

According to Chris Mortensen of ESPN, New England Patriots offensive coordinator Charlie Weis has agreed to a six-year, $12 million contract to become the head coach at Notre Dame. Weis will fly to South Bend, Ind. after the Patriots' home game against the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday, Dec. 12, to meet with the Fighting Irish football team that night. He will be introduced as their new coach in a press conference Monday, Dec. 13.
