Bears | Hutchinson an Option if Krenzel Struggles
Larry Mayer, of ChicagoBears.com, reports the Chicago Bears' coaching staff said it may consider playing QB Chad Hutchinson if starting QB Craig Krenzel continues to turn the football over. "Chad has done a lot of good things out on the football field, but Craig is our quarterback," head coach Lovie Smith said. "We've had too many turnovers lately, but it's not all his fault. We have to protect him better. Of course he has to hold onto the football and make some better decisions, but it's just not all the quarterback."
