The San Francisco Chronicle's Susan Slusser reports Oakland Athletics OF Billy McMillon blasted a three-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning Sunday, Aug. 29 as the Athletics beat the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, 9-6. "That might be the longest drought in baseball history,'' McMillon said. "It was in the back of my mind. I also knew I'd gone below the Mendoza line (.200) earlier in the game. So this sure will help.''
