Saints | D. Smith Agrees to Pay Cut

Updating a previous report, Jeff Duncan, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports the New Orleans Saints have reworked the contract of veteran LB Darrin Smith, who accepted a $1.35 million cut from his base salary. Smith, who is slated for backup duty, was scheduled to earn $2.25 million this season.
