Packers | Couch’s Arrival Means Team Must Find New Holder
Dylan B. Tomlinson, of PackersNews.com, reports the addition of QB Tim Couch will make the Green Bay Packers scramble to find a player to hold for field goals, a job backup QB Doug Pederson has done for the last three seasons. Pederson is expected to be with the Packers during training camp, but he can not continue to serve as the team's holder if he is the No. 3 quarterback since he wouldn't be allowed to enter the game unless the first two quarterbacks get hurt.
