Astros | Hidalgo Loses Job

Jim Molony, of Astros.MLB.com, reports Houston Astros OF Richard Hidalgo has officially lost his job as the team's starting right fielder. After holding a meeting with Hidalgo and manager Jimy Williams, general manager Gerry Hunsicker told the media that OF Jason Lane would be receiving most of the playing time in right field. Hidalgo is hitting .198 (23-for-116) since May 1.
