Panthers | Peete Battling for Backup Role

Brett Borden, of Panthers.com, reports Carolina Panthers QB Rodney Peete is unfazed about his upcoming competition for the No. 2 quarterback spot this year with QB Chris Weinke. "I'm not concerned with that," Peete said. "Chris is a good, young player. He had a great camp last year and he has definitely progressed in his three years here. Whatever decision they make, it's up to the coaches. I'm at a point in my career where I'm not going to get caught up in all of that."
