Redskins | Reasons for Canidate Release...

Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports one of the reasons the Washington Redskins decided to release RB Trung Canidate was because the team fears he will need surgery to repair a foot injury that slowed him last season. While the main reason the team released him is that he doesn't fit into the power back scheme head coach Joe Gibbs favors, some team officials are whispering to teams showing interest in Canidate that he may not be ready to play for awhile.
