Ravens | Interest Rising In Stewart?

The Baltimore Sun reports with the news of Oakland Raiders QB Rich Gannon remaining with the team as the starting quarterback, the odds of the Baltimore Ravens signing free agent QB Kordell Stewart (Bears) have increased. Oakland was thought to have likely released Gannon after signing QB Kerry Collins, which could have set a chain reaction in moves resulting in Gannon heading to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs could have then released QB Brad Johnson, who would have been a likely candidate to join the Ravens and head coach Brian Billick. Billick served as Johnson's offensive coordinator when the two were with the Minnesota Vikings.
