Ravens | Deputies Guarding Fullerís House Fired
The Baltimore Sun reports two veteran sheriff's deputies have been fired for guarding the home of Baltimore Ravens DB Corey Fuller while a high-stakes gambling operation was taking place in Tallahassee, Fla. While the deputies had consent to do the job, John Johnson and Derrick Conyers were fired after an internal investigation concluded they had disregarded their own suspicions about the operations happening inside the house. Johnson had been with the department for 10 years, while Conyers had a 17-year tenure.
