Mets | First Things First

The New York Times reports New York Mets C Mike Piazza may see more time at first base now that he has broken C Carlton Fisk's record for most home runs by a catcher in his career. "Mike's a catcher first and a first baseman second," Mets manager Art Howe said. "Somewhere down the road, he'll be playing a lot of first base, but when that is, I can't say. He might get more playing time at first as the season goes on because of the length of the season, but that's the only reason."
