Mets | Piazza Ties Home Run Record by Catcher

The Associated Press reports New York Mets C Mike Piazza tied the major league record for home runs by a catcher with his 351st homer of his career Monday, April 27. He tied the record held by former MLB C Carlton Fisk at Dodger Stadium against the organization he came up with. "It's special to do it here, no question about it," said Piazza. "I came up through this organization and they gave me a chance when no one else did. It means a lot. It really does. It's a little emotional for me."
