Browns | Davis Takes Some Blame for Wolf Departure
Tom Withers, of the Associated Press, reports that Cleveland Browns head coach Butch Davis feels partially responsible for the departure of part-time football consultant Ron Wolf from the team. "I really regret the way it turned out and ended, and I'll take some of the responsibility for that," he said. "I'm the first to admit that there's times that I regret things I said. I'm human. I make mistakes. Out of frustration and anger, sometimes I'll say things in a flippant remark." Wolf said earlier this week that he wasn't asked to do much by Davis during his short time with the Browns, and he was bothered by recent comments made by the head coach, who dismissed some of the 65-year-old's opinions.
