Giants | Veres Interested In Frisco

According to The Houston Chronicle, free-agent P Dave Veres has had interest from the San Francisco Giants, and he is keen on the idea of pitching in the National League West. "As of right now it looks like it's going to be the Giants," Veres said. "Nothing's agreed to and signed, but they're one of the teams that have called. On Tuesday, they're going to check me out to make sure my knee and shoulder and hip are healthy."
