Cardinals | Cox Waived

The AP reports the St. Louis Cardinals placed 1B-OF Steve Cox on waivers on Sunday, Mar. 14. Manager Tony La Russa said it didn't appear that Cox would be able to make the team, but the team wanted to give him a chance to catch on with another club.
