Lions | Not Done Shopping

James Royer, of, reports the Detroit Lions will continue to shop for free agents to fill team needs, particularly at running back, linebacker and wide receiver. "We are going to continue to look and determine who is available," head coach Steve Mariucci said. "We know what our needs are, but there are a couple of different ways to fill those needs. One is free agency and the other is the draft. My guess is that we will stay busy, evaluate a few more and see if we can't land another guy or two." As for finding another tailback, of which the Lions currently only employ two RBs Artose Pinner and Olandis Gary Marucci said, "We are going to add to that group one way or the other whether it is in free agency or the draft."
