Cardinals | Porter is Candidate for Outfield Spot

The AP reports St. Louis Cardinals OF Colin Porter has a shot at making the team and playing in left field. "He's another guy who has a chance to play left," said Cardinals manager Tony La Russa. "There is going to be a fight for that spot and I expect it will go right down to the wire." In the team's first exhibition game on Tuesday, Mar. 2, Porter had three hits and showed good defensive speed in the outfield.
